These pictures came from one of our favorite parts of the day with Alison and Andy. Their coordinator Cindy Velaquista did a fantastic job of keeping every moment of Alison and Andy’s day running on schedule. We absolutely loved this because it meant we got more time with the lovely Bride and Groom after their ceremony. The Tanque Verde Ranch has the most beautiful little lake on their property, and Cindy took all of us there for a fantastic photo-op. On top of all the natural beauty around the ranch, Alison and Andy could not have picked a better time to have their wedding. All of the desert flowers were in bloom, allowing for some of the most incredible photographs. Thank You Alison and Andy for an absolutely incredible day.
Recently we joined Nacole Gray the creator of Rich Skinny Pretty at the San Diego Polo Club for the opening day of Polo Season. Nothing starts of a polo match better than a glass of champaign and some pretty girls. This year Nacole was asked by the SD Polo Club to style their opening day fashion show. She paired up with Gerhard Boutique to outfit her girls. To find out more about what the girls wore check out Rich Skinny Pretty. On Opening Day we showed up early to get our tickets and take some photos of the girls getting ready. When we entered the Tiki Club, where the girls were getting their hair and make up done the room was full of excitement, champaign and hairspray! It is always so much fun to be a witness to the creative process of styling. The polo matches were really fun to watch. I was amazed at how many times each player had to exchange his horse for a fresh one. It was mind boggling when one player kicked his stirrups free lined his horse up next to his fresh one and leaped from his tired horse’s back into his fresh horse’s saddle with out getting off and touch the ground. Not all the players felt the need for such a show. We can’t wait for the next polo match. But I think next time we are going to try the tailgating section and bring our own chairs.
This is Venus. The best way to describe her is sweet, quiet, and shy. It took a little time for us to get to know one another, but it wasn’t long until she discovered that the camera = treats! And not just any treats, but her favorite yogurt drop treats! After this discovery our photo session went just great! We spent some time hanging out on the couch, and snuggling up on the plush carpet, we even did some barking at Brett. That’s always fun!
It’s totally geekie but we love Kidrobots! The cute little creatures find every opportunity to hop down off the shelves, and stow away in our bags in hopes of sneaking off for a photo adventure. This prickly cactus creature snuck his way onto our Death Valley camping trip. He was so persistent about jumping into our pictures that we thought we’d share.
