We had a wonderful time taking Phillip and Sidney’s Irvine Park engagement photos.  These two are just too cute and so much fun.  They chose an absolutely beautiful place for their engagement session.  The Irvine Regional Park is so large and has so many attractions that we had to do a couple laps around before deciding on where to start the shoot.    We took Phillip and Sidney for a walk around the lake stopping at picturesque bridges, romantic park benches and enormous old trees. All through the park we found cute little train tracks that ran every which way and ended at a small fake western town that was a highlight or our session.   All in all the four of us had so much fun exploring Irvine park together.

A little back story on this awesome couple, Phillip and Sidney knew one another growing up in Orange County but it wasn’t until Sidney’s Senior year when Phillip asked her out to a dance and sparks flew.  It’s been three years since that first dance and they are as cute as ever!

Thanks you so much Phillip and Sidney for such a fun engagement shoot! You guys were a blast to work with and we cant wait for your wedding next spring!

Our Del Mar race track styled engagement photo shoot was the result of some truly wonderful wedding vendors coming together and sharing their skills and talents.  Sara Mackenzie of Mackenzie Marketing and Urban Style the Wedding Network headed up this project and brought all the talent together.  We staged this photo shoot in the weeks before the opening day at the race track and we were lucky enough to get to work with one of the beautiful horses.  He was all saddled up in his race attire and on his best behavior.  Everyone involved in the behind the scenes was amazing and our models Bri and Stefan were so much fun to work with.  Amanda from Thorne Artistry worked tirelessly pulling all the cloths for this shoot and putting together some beautiful looks for  Bri and Stefan.  The wardrobe Amanda put together even included a champaign color dress covered in subtle silver horses.  How perfect is that for an Opening Day outfit!  Thank you everyone for all the hard work!  We are so proud of what you put together!  You can find a list of all the amazing vendors just below images with links to everyone’s website.

We had a lot of fun with Clair and Noel on their La Jolla beach engagement shoot.  These two dated in college when they lived on the east coast, but decided to go their separate ways for a few years.  For most couples that might be the end of their story but not for these love birds.  A few years later, after Clair and Noel had both graduated they each found themselves living and working in San Diego.  They reconnected in this spectacular beach town and picked right back up where they had left off.  It is always amazing when we hear stories like this.  The world is such a big place and there are so many different opportunities and paths we each might end up on but to see two people come back together like this is always so special.

Clair and Noel are one of the cutest couples we have had the pleasure of working with.  On our engagement shoot with them it seemed like they were always smiling or laughing together.  They could be romantic and sweet one moment and totally goofy the next.  We absolutely loved it!  Thanks Clair and Noel for a wonderful afternoon with you both!
