There is something magical about sleeping babies, and Mackenzie was no exception. She snuggled in for a nice little nap while we took her 1 month pictures and she even gave us some cute nap time expressions. Babies grow and change so quickly and it’s wonderful to be a part of documenting that growth. We had so much fun and we just can’t wait to take Mackenzie’s next round of photos. grow

Our Dear friends Josh and Suz had us come up to Los Angeles a few days after their new son Aiden came into this world. We went to Suz’s Parents house up the Rose Bowl and cranked up the heat to get these beautiful shots of him. He was a little squirmy and refused to go to sleep. But even with all that he still had time to pause here and there for a shot. Thanks little guy. We can’t wait to come see you again.
Last time we saw Logan, he was only 10 days old and was spending most of his time sleeping. Here we are 6 months later and he has grown into such a cute little young man. It’s just incredible how much babies grow and change in their first year. Which is why we love doing a series of shoots that showcase a baby’s growth. The traditional ages to schedual shoots during your baby’s first year, is as a new born, at 6 months, 9 months and the 1 year mark. But we also love it when new mommies opt for their first shoot with us to be a maternity shoot.
