Cake pops are everywhere theses days from the drive threw at Starbucks to the wedding day desert table.  We are personal fans of the cake pops made by Sarah at Tailored Sweets.  The cake inside is moist, her designs are ridiculously fun and the cake pops just taste great.  We got a hold of theses lips she made and had a blast with them before taking a little nibble.  We hear that mustaches are also in the works for Tailored Sweets and we can’t wait to see them, snap some photos and then eat them.  Sarah thanks for bringing these little gems by the studio!

Cake toppers are a little soft spot of mine.  There are so many fun, cute and creative ways to top your wedding cake and I love looking at some of the fun ones on Etsy.  This week I found some fun toppers I wanted to share.

The first one just steals my heart because Brett and I have become quite big fans of the tandem bicycle.

Ok this one really made me laugh. At a number of the weddings we've done lately the Bride and her bridesmades are up with the sunrise getting ready for the big day, and the Groom and groomsmen are up at sunrise tee time. So I just loved this one by Muraluiza on Etsy

Birds are very in right now and these guys are just so cute! They are hand painted and come in a variety of colors to match any wedding. They are by RedLightStudio on Etsy

I discovered  last week that Brett is not only good at photography but is also quite skilled at booth building.  Aside from a few color and styling choices on my part Brett built and designed our lovely bridal show booth. We also wanted to share some of the exciting exhibitors at the La Jolla Hyatt bridal show.

These two love birds got ahold of us to shoot their engagement shoot and came back for a rock the dress session.  They got married on the beach in the Dominican Republic but also wanted some fun shots near where they live in Arizona.  Shawna didn’t want anything to happen to her beautiful wedding dress but she still wanted to play around in the grassy fields we found so she opted to bring a more casual fun dress she didn’t have to worry about.  Thanks Guys, we had a great day, and you two looked fantastic!
