Evan and Meagan made the second half of their Trash the Dress Riviera Maya. We started their session in the cute town of Playa del Carmen that is abundant with colorful shops and fluttering flags. After some time wandering the markets we hopped back in our cab and went to Evan and Meagan’s resort Barcelo Maya Beach in Riviera Maya to complete the day. The Barcelo resort has a beautiful private beaches for its customers that we would be crazy not to take advantage of. On our way down to the beach Meagan and Evan took a little detour and jumped into one of the resort’s swimming pools in their tux and wedding dress. In the planning stages of Evan and Meagan’s destination wedding they knew that they wanted to include a trash the dress session into their stay so Meagan brought a second wedding dress. This way her long mermaid cut wedding dress would stay pristine and she could have fun in her shorter dress without having to worry. Once they were wet there were a number of great spots on the Barcelo property for romantic photos. The employees were even nice enough to keep the kids water park running for us so that Evan and Meagan could enjoy it. This day was finally a wrap with some epic portraits of Evan and Meagan in the teal tropical ocean. A big thanks to Evan and Meagan for getting wet and for going along with some of Brett’s wild ideas.

Evan and Meagan opted for a destination wedding in beautiful Mexico so what better way to kick of the rest of their trip than with a trash the dress Playa del Carmen style. A couple days after their wedding ceremony the four of us piled into a cab and headed to the cute town of Playa del Carmen. We were immediately surrounded by colorful markets selling everything a tourist could desire. We loved all of the colorful flags draped high across the market place and the cobblestone walkways. It wasn’t long before we happened upon a fun modern hotel in the middle of town and the people running it were more than happy for us to come up and shoot. We truly appreciated how friendly everyone we encountered in town was and it wouldn’t have been a proper day in such a fun little place without a stop for margaritas. Evan and Meagan’s Playa del Carmen trash the dress was a fantastic day and we are so excited for these love birds. Stay tuned for part 2 of their trash the dress session.
Michele and Chris had a beautiful La Jolla Cove Suites Wedding. The wedding ceremony was held on the venue’s rooftop. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking, it overlooks the La Jolla cove and out to the cliffs above Scripps. For Michele and Chirs the view from the La Jolla Cove Suites was particularly special, because the cliffside where Chris proposed would be in view just behind their ceremony archway. These two love birds decided to be traditional and get ready on opposite ends of the hotel, each having their own suite with a balcony to look out as they primped. Michele’s Longtime friend is a talented violinist. He began to play when it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin as flocks of pelicans lazily flew by over head. The weather for their wedding could not have been more perfect with a slight breeze and a few little white puffy clouds in the sky. Chris and Michele had one of their really good friends officiate the wedding for them, which is always a special touch that rinds close to our hearts. One of our favorite aspects of their ceremony was their anneversary wine box. They chose an amazing bottle of Tobin James red wine and placed a letter to sac other and two wine glasses in a beautiful wooden box. With all the items in they closed it and locked it with a key. On their fifth wedding anniversary they will finally unlock the box and enjoy the wine together. So romantic!
We have to say that Michele and Chris are two of the sweetest people we have had the pleasure of working with. Their families had some truly amazing speeches at their wedding reception and it was clear to us that Michele and Chris go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. We feel so lucky to be a part of their special day, and it has been wonderful getting to know them and their amazing families better. This was a group that loved to have fun and the dancing just never seemed to stop. It was a pleasure capturing their wedding day for them. Check below for all the Vendor information.
Chris and Michele designed custom wedding bands.
The kimonos were a cute idea for her bridesmaid and the mothers. A great thing to hang out in when all the girls are getting ready, and so colorful.
Michele kept her dress hidden from everyone until she finally put it on so that it would be a surprise not only for Chris but for Michele’s Mother and Brother…. we were excited to catch their first look at her beautiful beaded wedding dress.
Michele had the cutest custom toe nails with little tuxedos painted on them and one with Chris’s name.
We LOVE when the bride and groom exchange a gift and hand written letter before the ceremony. It is such a special moment.
It was sweet to see Chris’s dad helping him with his tie.
The La Jolla Cove Suites has a wonderful balcony for wedding ceremonies overlooking The Cove
We could not have asked for a more perfect day for these two. Thank you La Jolla for bringing us beautiful weather.
And Pound it!
Michele and Chris had custom shot glasses made for all their guests with their “two peas in a pod” motto. And to top it all off during the groom’s thank you speech everyone toasted in their new shot glasses with tequila.

Tucson is known for its warm weather and bright sunny days. Well Brad and Brooke’s wedding day started out with weather quite out of character for this dry city. We were met at the Skyline Country Club by blustering winds and rain showers. Who would have thought. As Brooke and her girls got ready curling their hair and the Gentlemen played some poker, the rain storm finally let up. The awesome event staff at the Skyline Country Club boogied to set up and dry off everything for Brad and Brooke’s outdoor ceremony. When the guests arrived everything looked beautiful! The Skyline Country Club has an amazing outdoor spiral stair case and it had dried up enough that Brooke was able to use it for her grand entrance. We are so glad that everything came together so beautiful for Brad and Brooke on their wedding day. They are two incredibly sweet and fun people and we wish them many more years of fun and passion. Thanks so much for including us in your special day!
Brooke had matching pink robes embroidered for all her bridesmaids to relax in and wear while they were getting ready. So cute!
Brad put a lot of time and thought into his gifts to Brooke. Each gift bag had a memento from their relationship and note attached with loving words.
Family is incredibly important to Brooke and it was so sweet capturing both her mom and stepmom helping her into her beautiful wedding dress.
We just love this moment shared between Brad and his Father. These two are just too awesome!

Brad and Brooke didn’t want to see one another before the wedding but we found them a nice little spot where they could hold hands for a moment and share a little prayer together.
As a woman trying to wear heels and stand around in grass is a serious challenge. Seeing as how all of Brooke’s bridesmaids were going to wear sweet high heels, Brad made the entire wedding party white wooden hearts to stand on during the ceremony. It sure looked cute with all the hearts lined up.
You can’t even tell that it had rained! What an amazing wedding day.
Brooke’s entrance was phenomenal coming down the grand outdoor staircase at the Skyline Country Club
I do!
It was just a selfie kind of moment.
I seriously love these two on the stair case! Have you guys modeled before? are you sure?
Brad and Brooke had a really fun reception. There were some incredibly sentimental toasts and lots and lots of dancing!
Oh how we love a sparkler send off!
